Mrs. Pellerin's reading group used what they have been learning about
literature as they presented a winter-themed puppet theater. Students
thought about the elements of setting to create the set. They used what
they know about character traits to develop voices and actions for their characters.
They practiced reading their scripts fluently and then performed the
plays for Mrs. Norgang's class. They worked hard and did a tremendous job.
The last puppet theater had a nice holiday theme: Christmas is about helping others.
I hope all of the Monroe students take the time to help someone else during the holiday season.
